Yorkshire Air Museum Aircraft ,Vehicles and Visitors

The Yorkshire Air Museum is situated next to Elvington airfield a few miles from the centre of York. It aims to be a living memorial to all the Allied Air Forces personnel who operated from Yorkshire during the Second World War. There are many exhibits including original WWII buildings, uniforms, vehicles and aircraft including a reconstruction of a Halifax bomber. These photographs have been taken at many visits to the museum.
